About
A one-person studio in Phoenix, with a few sharp collaborators, that builds AI products for itself and for clients.

Erick Gorin, founder
I'm an operator first. Before Gorin Collective I shipped products and led teams across financial services, consumer tech and small business. I started the studio because a small team using AI well can now do what used to take a department, and I wanted to build that way rather than watch it happen.
The studio does two things. We build and run our own products, like Light Rail Living. And we help companies get real results from AI: a strategy with a budget and an end date, an agent that does one job well, a product that ships in weeks. The second depends on the first. We only recommend what we've used ourselves.
If you're trying to work out where AI fits in your business, or you have an idea and no team to build it, I'd like to hear about it.
How we work
We run what we recommend.
We build and operate our own products, so our advice comes from practice. When something doesn't work, we find out before you do.
Fixed scope, written pricing.
Clear start, clear deliverables, and an end date on every engagement. No open-ended retainers.
Honest about AI.
We tell you where it helps and where it doesn't. If a recommendation came from a model, the product says so. If we're not the right fit, we say that too.
How we use AI
We build on Anthropic, OpenAI and open models, whichever fits the job. AI writes a lot of our first drafts, code included, and people decide what ships. Every venue in Light Rail Living was checked by someone who walked the block.
You can try a small example of the assistants we build for clients.
Phoenix
Phoenix is the fifth-largest city in the country and one of the least served by this kind of studio. We work in person here and remotely with companies anywhere, with a weekly call on every engagement.
